Electricity by NEN1010 standardization
The Serverius datacenter obtains its main power from its own 10kV power grid connection. This power grid is direct part of the Dutch “Flevo ring”, this power grid ring in the central of the Netherlands is providing two way power. If any disruptions happens the batteries and diesel generators will be used. Through this, the entire datacenter can runs for weeks on only generator power. With this solid power setup, Serverius offers their customers a 100% uptime guarantee SLA. In the year 2013 Serverius counted more than 1000 uptime of all datacenter facets!
UPS and batteries
Serverius uses multiple PowerWave 120kW Newave UPS energy-efficient three-phase systems. Like many know, the most trustful UPS brand in Europe!
The serverius datacenter provide 2 kinds of UPS setups: N+1 and 2N. With the 2N both rack PDU is using a different UPS set. This way customers are getting the best redundancy they need.
Generator
A brand new generator with 10.000 liters of fuel will guarantee the generator will run much longer than 96 hours before is was refilled (by the 8hrs refill contract). Periodically the generator is tested so it is certain that it will also work when it’s needed. The generator maintenance happens on a periodic basis by the engineers of ITEC itself, so it’s quality you can trust.
